2017 Local Woman Of The Year – Kylie Gray

State Member for the Electorate of Cessnock, Clayton Barr, MP is pleased to announce that Mrs Kylie Gray of Weston as the 2017 Local Woman of the Year for the Cessnock Electorate.

Mrs Gray’s nomination recognises her outstanding achievements through many years of hard work and dedication.

“It’s the hard work of community heroes like Kylie that serves as an inspiration to women across our community and New South Wales,” Mr Barr said.

Kylie Gray is currently the District Manager of Cessnock Girl Guides and has mentored many young ladies in the Cessnock community.  Kylie joined Brownies when she was seven and has been a youth member for 10 years and a leader for 28+ years, receiving many Special Achievement Awards for her efforts.  Kylie has organised and participated in numerous community events and fundraisers.

“It is truly a privilege to be able to acknowledge Kylie’s hard work and her success,” Mr Barr said.
