Cessnock City Council has been granted $200,000 towards Elevating Cessnock Library with NSW Government funding through the 2016/17 Public Library Infrastructure Grants Program.
The Public Library Infrastructure Grants Program supports projects that will assist NSW Councils to improve public library infrastructure including buildings and information technology systems.
Mr Barr congratulated Council on receiving the funding and wished them well in undertaking the project.
