An outstanding turn out at the local community rally yesterday. The message from this afternoon’s community meeting is clear.
1) Our local Police should not be spending their valuable time transporting prisoners to court, jail and hospitals.
2) We desperately need more Police officers in the Cessnock LGA to respond to our growing population.
3) Cessnock needs a new, modern state-of-the-art Police station that can accommodate more officers, more units and more resources.
As a community, we can push for these changes to be implemented. All I need you to do is to put your request and concerns in writing and then email them to me, the Shadow Minister for Police and the Minister for Police.
It doesn’t have to be an essay. It can simply read “Cessnock needs more Police now!”
