Thank you to all the local organisations and community groups who submitted applications and congratulations to the 2 successful recipients.  And thank you to all the community members who took the time to vote for your favourite projects.”

The successful projects included a significant upgrade to the facility at Miller Park, Branxton to include an extension of the roof lines to provide shelter from the weather for spectators and participants at Greta Branxton Little Athletics Club and Greta Branxton Wildcats Football Club.

Mr Barr said “This funding will deliver much needed improvements to the Miller Park facility and provide a protective area for all to participate, enjoy and watch several of our local sports teams.”

The space will be inclusive to all members of the community, provide free access to community barbeques, play facilities and be fenced and secured.
