Project Description
Cessnock West Public School has long been renowned for its lack of grass to play on, so much so that it came to be known as Cement City. Not anymore. Thanks to $16,318 from the Community Building Partnership, and an enormous fundraising effort from the P&C, they were able to construct a grass playground area in the middle of the school. It’s a fantastic example of a partnership between the school, the P&C and the community itself.
